Reporting negative credit for $48 after the account was paid off consumer fraud rip-off

Paid off the account and asked them to close the account in April. SOne week after the pay off, I got a bill that I owe $ 48.00 for late payment. I called the customer service supervisor and she told me that she will take care of it, because there was an error in the billing.

Today I got a credit report showing that I am pass due for 30,60, and 90 days on the $48.00. The account is showing closed and paid off and at the same time showing past due of the same month. This is a rip off.
