I wanted to report how Wachovia Bank completely has been ripping me off and abusing me with fee after fee after fee. I believe I even have double fees for 1 charge at 35.00 they just call it a different fee. Here's my story..
On May 19th I had 32.91 in my account then all of sudden I have a 315.00 lump charge called Overdraft / Unavailable funds fee. Then I had 5 more charges go through even though it was negative. Then they charged me 3 seperate 35.00 fees called NSF fees and on top of that I get a lump sum fee of 175.00 called Overdraft/Unavailable funds fee. Now I am up to 595.00 in fees. After completely groveling and begging them to remove some fees they remove 105.00 although I believe that for each charge that didn't go through they charged me 2 35.00 fees? Is that legal? So then I deposit 850.00 every thing is o.K. For about 5 days then I made a 400.00 deposit at 9 in the morning, well i look and on my account before the 400.00 deposit is another lump sum fee for 140.00 called Overdraft / Unavailable funds along with 4 more charges of 35.00 each! If they had posted the 400.00 before the lump fee I would be fine, Now once again I am negative in my account and it's not stopping! I am so upset that I just don't know what to do. I really feel like I'm being scammed. It doesn't matter who you talk to there they are all programmed to say the same thing. This can not be legal. If anyone out there is involvied with filing a lawsuit against these crooks I would love to join in or help initiate this. Something has to be done against these big corporations stealing from us.
