I noticed that 21st Mortgage had made a deposit electronically in my checking acct., so I contacted my bank. They told me that the e-pay check they sent, had the last number on the acct. Was wrong. So, instead of calling me and informing me, they redeposited my mortgage payment back into my checking account.
To make matters worse, this was a payment sent to them on May 1st and they deposited it into their acct. On May 2nd electronically, and then returned the money in my acct. On May 6th.
Can you believe they do not have any record of depositing this money? They told me that it does not show any payment has been made and the system they use kicked it back because of the acct. Number. They claim they never got the money.
So, my question is, How can they deposit money back into
my checking acct. From them if they never received the money?
This is an acct. That has been with them for years since they took over Suntrust Banks Loans and they just had to look at the name on the check to find the acct. It is just a sleazy, unethical, way to try to undermind
the little man to forclose on his mobile home and land.
I called my bank today to see if the second check I sent went thru and they have received it today. However, I don't know if they will send it back too.
Have you ever heard of a company sending checks back because of the wrong acct. Number? I have not. All they have to do is look on the check and get the owners name, address, and phone number, it should match
up with the loan info. If not, then maybe kick it back. What do you think?
