On 02/21 I applied online for a quick loan. I recieved a call back to verify info & was asked for my checking acct info to direct deposit the "gauranteed loan" into my acct. The person I spoke to insisted I would recieve a line of credit acct to better increase my credit rating, telling me there would be a one time fee of $99.00. I repeated several times that I did not want this "service".
On 02/23 The $99.00 was deducted from my checking acct! I contacted my bank by email & the response was to file a dispute but no money would be replaced in my acct until the dispute is settled. On 03/01 another $99.49 was removed from my acct from the same company. I spoke with a bank rep who told me the same thing as I got in the first email—had to go thru the dispute process. I am now overdrawn in my acct & cannot afford to pay any of this back to the bank.
My only income is SSD benefits'.
I did not recieve the loan nor did anyone contact me to say I was denied—no communication at all!!
