I started a non-profit sometime last year and opened two accounts in Ban of America. When I opened the account, the bank personal selected account type and told me that I had over draft facility. Few month done the road i had charges indicating there is no over draft facility. Particularly annoying was charges of $35.00 for over draft of $6.95. This has happened because of banks previous charges of $20.
I went to branch in Beverly Hills where I opened my account. The manager said, he used to have authority but no longer he could deal with such an issue. I should call customer services. I called customer services, after wasting my time for half an hour they said I should make complain on line or by mail. I went online and made a complaint. An email came back saying that i should contact a number. I did that and the person made a note and said this is not about us refunding your fee. This is about management learning about peoples problems and to try to make their service better.
So I had wasted a lot of time to assist the company to better understand what to do to better take advantage of its client.
Quiet frankly I have never seen such ruth less company.
My advice to all of you. Do not deal with this bank. I have several accounts and i am going to close them done one after another.
