AT&T will not return My Overpayment!

I would like to have the following companies Investigated into... I feel they are really ripping the American public off... The Company is AT&T and not sure if the Phone Company and AT& T the Credit Card company are one in the same but if they are... That might be part of the reason this has happened..

I do my banking at First Resource in St Joe MI on Red arrow Hwy... I have online banking though them but it is a third party. On March 27th I sent a payment of $2000.00 and then on 4-2-08 another payment of $3300.00 electronically to AT&T SBC Phone... I made a mistake I was wanting to send it to AT&T Credit Card. When i notice I made the Mistake on about 4-5-08 I called in and told them what I had done and the young man on the other end said well i am not sure how to credit that back to you... So after probably about 30-45 min he was confused how he could send it back when my bill was due of $102 so it seemed like a big deal, so I told him I would send him the $102 so he could then electronically returned my $5300...

This is when it starts getting goofy after the Big Company did not get my money returned by about the 11th I called Because up till now I am with my wife in Chicago at Rush Medical being Treated for Leukemia... I had a couple of weeks to be home with my wife and family and enjoy some time but instead I got to work on trying to get money back that is rightfully mine...

So i started by calling AT&T who assured me I had overpaid my bill but they could not give it back to me for 21 days (Now remember all this time AT&T Credit Card is charging me Interest) when I asked why the the supervisor Li Dion says because the Bank could pull the money back and then they would be out the money... So I thought well i will go to the bank which I did and talked to Melissa who helped me and withdrew my money back and put it into my account... So I thought cool that worked out good..

The Next day My online account was shut down so I did not have access to my money... Bill Pay I guess had paid the bill to AT&T SBC but because they will not give it back they shut down my account... The American Public needs some protection from this... So I told the bank give the money back to Bill Pay (So again I am out $5300 while the big companies holds on) then we start the process with the bank. I met with Tameka did calls to both AT&T & Bill Pay in two day I probably spent at least 3-4 Hours with Tameka...

Now I got to tell you with a wife with leukemia and getting ready for a bone marrow transplant the last thing I want to be doing is sitting in a bank discussing this... So can you help me recover my $5300 that is rightfully mine and also would like them to pay the interest on my credit card and also think I should get about $10,000 for the loss of time with my wife while working on this... And to be honest I think the Bank should get some money for the hassles they have went though..

PS If you want lot of the detail please call Tameka at the First Source Bank in St Joseph Mi she is very involved in this case. As of today I still have not seen my money
