I received an envelope in the mail with a one page information including registration form and return envelope. This was a job for stuffing envelopes at $5.00 bucks a piece and all I had to do was send in the $30.00 registration fee. Sounds good, doesn't it? Too good in fact! My first suspicions were:
1. The return address was a P.O. Box with no valid street address.
2. I could not locate any info on this company on the internet or by using 411.
3. I called their phone# (626-259-0175) to investigate if this company was even valid. I got a message (a man's voice, sounded like he was from an Indian background) saying that they could not possibly take any calls as the call volume was too high-yeah right! And everything would be in the "information package."
So I did more investigation and found this website. Thanks to all of you out there who took the time to warn others, like myself about this scam. Someone's got to stop them. For anyone reading this, follow your gut instincts. WHEN SOMETHING SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE—IT PROBABLY IS!
