Key Bank of Ohio and California Fitness of Ohio
Ripoff charged my closed bank account ripoff business from hell Columbus Ohio

When I was 16 years old I opened a SAVINGS account. When I opened the account they informed me that there would be no one aloud to access the account besides myself. Well I was getting ready to go to the Air Force and wanted to get into shape while preparing. They made me give them my bank account information even though I paid for my three month contract up front.

I had a little problem with the account so I closed it, or so I thought. A few weeks later not only did my bank account not close but California Fitness charged me for the three month I had already paid for and two more. I was in outrage, after I had already thought I closed the account they let them charge me when they said no one could and they charged me over two hundred dollars in late charges. Once I realized this I went to the bank and closed it again without paying the balance. They sent me to collections, but being underage there was nothing they could do to me.

Well in outrage the same day I called California Fitness the same day. They informed me that they lost my contract and had no proof of payment so I owed them the balance. I became very angry with the rude women I was talking to and made sure that they stopped my contract, or so I thought once again. Two months later I get a letter in the mail that I owe California fitness two more months worth that my bank didnt already pay for.

I blew all of it off after argueing with as many people as I could. Frankly at 16 they didnt care what I had to say. Well when I turned 18 I wanted to start a good life with working to building my credit and what not. Because of what these two companies did to me I had to pay A LOT of money to even open a checking account. I advise everyone ask around before you go to a bank or any other place that wants access to YOUR MONEY!
