Our story is similar to others. Simply put... We paid what we agreed to, then they try to take more.
The full story... Wife signs up for 36-month gym membership at ladies gym (Premier Ladies Fitness). Actually she likes this gym, close to home, no oglers. We move away from ladies gym. Nearest Premier "Ladies" Fitness has men working out and is about 20 minutes away. She didn't like this so she doesn't go. We keep paying monthly because "she owes" (never-mind that she could no longer get what she signed up for). The catch is we cancelled the original bank account they were taking whatever they wanted out of and were autopaying monthly from a different account and life was lovely. (Not really, we would have really liked to cancel the contract, but that was not an option without a heavy penalty.)
The problems started when they charged their $20 yearly "enhancement fee" that is hidden in their contract.
