Not My Debt - Never Heard of or from this Company

I was viewing my credit report and saw a debt for $27. I did not recognize this and had never heard from this company regarding this debt.

I asked Experian to investigate and they sent me a letter stating that Jefferson Capital would let the debt remain on my history.

I have seen post on the internet about this company running scams and placing debt on reports to get free money.
