College Aid Professionals works with families, devising a financial plan to pay for college. Based on a verbal agreement with the business owners, I conducted extensive marketing work to bring new clients. This work included designing and maintaining a web site, courting local schools and unions, and getting media attention for the company.
One of the principals has been promising payment since last June. The other has been made several promises over the past 3 months to send a check. Based on a per-capita rate that I myself devised, and the company agreed to, the amount owed is only $400. It is now clear that they have no intention to pay me.
I find the owners' conduct to be less than trustworthy. Be careful.
