Not customer oriented but they do like to lie

At the new argyle forest branch, in oakleaf, my wife and i went in and opened 3 new accounts. At first they were very nice as we did the paperwork establishing our accounts. We open two checking accounts and a savings account. As we went to make the initial deposits i asked if they held funds. I was assured that if there was a hold it would only be a day or two. As i gave my deposit to the teller she said they normally hold deposits for up to 11 days. When i pointed out that i was depositing cash she said of course there would be no hold. And that holds were only for the first 30 days. I continued to make deposits by cash so there would be no problems. I then made a deposit a couple weeks later into my wife's account and a separate on into my account. Both deposits were cash. They held the funds for 4 days. When my wife went into the bank to complain she was told that we knew the bank's policies before hand. When she explained that the deposit was made in cash she was told sorry thats the bank's policy. She called me form the bank and angela (branch manager) said she was sorry but there was nothing to be done as the policy was spelled out in the docs we signed when we opened our accounts. My wife closed her account at that time.

This all happened on the 21st of april.
On wednesday the 23rd of april i pulled into a gas station to buy gas. My card was rejected. I paid cash and went back to work. I called the service center phone number on the back of my card and a man told me my accounts were closed on tuesday the 22nd of april. I asked him where my money was and he told me he didn't know.

I called the bank and talked to angela (branch manager) and explained to her i had written checks and my tax refund was set to be direct deposited into my savings account. She said the bank exercised it right to close my account and pretty much did not care about the discomfort it caused me.

It is now 3 days since they closed my account and i still do not have my money.
