Aurora Loan Services filed intent to foreclose court February. The case was settled in court with an agreement for me to make roughly double payments for a period - which I did. Now they have gone back in violation of our contract and decided I owed additional payments varying from $6000 to $4000. They are also reporting to the credit bureaus that I am four months behind on my mortgage payments. I have honored the agreement and I've not missed any payments since the agreement. They didn't even have a copy of the agreement - I had to fax it to them. They were not even aware that we'd settled in court.
I made my mortgage payment in January and twice they returned it to me because it was sent online vs. A check. The third time they accepted it (same method, online) - and credited it as received as of the third time I sent it. When I called to ask why they said I wasn't authorized to make online payments. I'd been making online payment for months prior to this.
A VP Cathy Jarboe has sent me a letter dated 3/17/08 and I've attempted on numerous occasions to call her but I've only been successful in leaving message after message. She has returned my calls to my home phone while I am at work. They have my cell number but they really are not about providing any reasonable level of customer service.
Their recordkeeping is terrible. Whenever I call into customer service to speak to someone they cannot distinguish between my mortgage payments coming in and an escrow going out. They didn't even have a copy of the agreement signed by one of their officers that I'd mentioned above - I had to fax it to them. They were not even aware that we'd settled in court. They were not even aware they had filed foreclosure papers. I have told them when I can be reached since they cannot be reached and they do not call.
