Main Idea Loan Officer received a deposit $795.00 for work that was not rendered so I expect deposit back.
Key Notes
Company name is ASB Capital, The rep that I had Issues with was Lute Ateih Lute was supposed to get a revolving loan for "$100k-$250k" We only ended up with $50k
- The "deposit" was for the efforts on ASB's part to make a "loan package" than submit to lenders. The loan package was never made, a key element in a loan package is a credit report, and Lute NEVER pulled Faith's credit. Lute never submitted the "package" to a lender
- Instead Lute filled out an online Application with a third party company that than just applied online again with bank of America for a typical line of credit that is like a credit card.
- In addition the communication from Lute was horrible, and any time We asked for updates, he responded briefly, infrequently, and with in accurate information. Many times Lute said he pulled our credit, submitted our package to other lenders, and neither of those ended up ever happening. (I have records that prove this through our email conversations)
- Also when Lute first asked for deposit I told him that I think it is weird for a Broker to get paid in advance, he said ' Trust me I will perform, I don't plan on getting rich from 800 dollars at a time, I'll make money from the commission on the close of your loan.
- Lute agreed to not charge any commission on the close of loan, but I think due to such a lack of follow through from the agreement I am entitled to the deposit back.
