Lute Riley Honda
The Lying business that doesnt give a dam

I recently called Lute Riley Honda for assistance in purchasing a new veh. When I called them the salesman I spoke with requested that I come in and ask for him Bill.

When my fiance and I arrived at Lute Riley & asked for Bill we were greeted by a diff. Salesman that kept calling us by the wrong name (thinking we were someone else).

I finally got tired of him and told him my name & that I was waiting on Bill, in which he stated "oh... Bill asked me to help you, he's busy". He took my info. & ran my credit then we went outside to look at the cars.

Donzell, the salesman, then stated he was new & didn't know much about new cars. So, he went and got another salesman to assist us w/him. They left us in the parking lot (didn't tell us why) then came back and drove us (music blaring the whole time, Donzell on the phone arguing) to their other car lot to pick up a diffrent accord (not sure why).

We hastled with them on how he couldn't use me by myself to buy the car (even though I was approved for a bigger car a month earlier) and so i gave him 2 co-signers to choose from. He got up went behind the desk & said he couldn't use them. He never ran their credit. Then tried to get me into a new civic the same identical car I was trading in.

When I told him no, why start over when I put so much in the other one, he stated "oh you'd be lucky if you get $10,000-$9,000 for that car (I acctually got $14,700 for my old civic).

They begged me to go look at their used cars. I figured why not, I needed to save some money anyhow. Every car I liked Donzell wouldn't let me look at & didn't even know what the make, model, year was.

We finally test drove one & decided to buy it. When I asked about my subwoofer &l ifier in my civic Donzell told me I could not have it (2nd time I had asked him). I put 300 down and drove off upset about my amp & sub, realizing I had left a necklace in my civic & that the new car had no inspection sticker (not even an expired sticker).

We called Donzell imediatly. He said he would hold it for us. He said he had the necklace & we were to come in to get it & get the car detailed. We asked about the necklace again during the detail and he said some guy had it on his desk and was out, to call him later to get it. When I asked about the inspection sticker he said "it comes in the mail" which I knew better. Then I asked again if I could have my amp & sub back, he stated my civic had already been sold.

I called for 3 weeks and people gave me the run around about the necklace & inspection. I could never got in contact with Donzell or a manager. I was then called by someone from Lute Riley stating I could not have my title processed without an inspection (emissions test) and that she would call managment and call me back (she never called back).

I finally spoke with a manager that stated Donzell had been fired!!!

I was requested to come in the next day before 7 & they would get the inspection done and find my necklace. I came in the next day at 6, had the manager paged (Mourice Milord) and then noticed... My old civic on the showroom floor, amp & sub still inside!!!

We sat there an hour w/no help & no one seeming to care. When someone came to help us he said Mourice was busy. He let us have the sub out of the civic then told me they should have never let my new car off the lot w/out an inspection, he took my car, came back & said to come back a diffrent day because they couldn't inspect the car... I needed to be there before 6.

We came back to get the inspection and was helped by a very rude man who told us to take the car to service and that he could do nothing about the necklace. It was mearly hearsay, that they were not liable and did not like to accuse people of stealing.

Icing on the cake... I have recently recieved a bill in the mail from Lute Riley Honda for $27 unpaid balance... I was not upside down on my trade in... So why do I have an "unpaid balance" when I gave them $300 that night?!?!
