Hi all, it appears my husband and I are also victims to the scam operating under the name AFL Arbitrage, now Kent Woodhouse and Associates.
My husband was contacted in February by a Mark Dowthwaite who, like the other sales people, was very persistent in convincing him that this was a sound investment. After analysing the brochure and information, we decided that it might be possible to actually make the profits forecasted if the funds were managed correctly. After firstly completing checks on the company and not finding anything adverse, we decided to take the punt and invest with the company. A year later, the closing balance of our investment currently stands at $217.58 - a far cry from the anticipated returns!
Unfortunately, it appears that we have been duped along with many others. We too, would very much like to get our money back however are unsure as to what options are available to us. We will be watching closely for any further developments with this company.
