I contacted TMC financial in January 08, after trying to work with my mortgage company Option One on my own with no results, to mediate on our behalf. I paid them $1,300 to do so with the promise that they could help me. I was told in our consult by a lady named Lisa Marie, not to have any contact with Option One and to give them TMC's information so that Option One could contact her. I was also instructed not to make any more house payments and to save that money so that I could have a "cushion" in order to make future house payments. We faxed and overnight-ed all the information that TMC required and followed everything they asked us to do.in a few weeks, we became concerned because we had had no response or input from TMC. I called them several times and was only allowed to leave messages that were never returned.
Then, about one month later, a Robin called me and was very rude. She stated that I had not done all I was supposed to do and that the messages I had left were not clear. I told her that I did not understand what could not be clear about me leaving my name, phone number and the fact that it had been four weeks with nothing from TMC. Robin, then became even more hateful and started yelling at me. I asked for her supervisor and she told me he was not available. I asked her to then have someone else put on the phone so that I could talk to a rational person who was not yelling. She hung up.
I called her back and was put in touch with another lady who's name I do not remember, but, she told me that my file had been lost and that Lisa Marie was no longer with the company. She then told me she was going to put me with another employee named Patti and that Patti would work my file and get me help. We then had to re fax everything to her and get her more information. Patti told us that she would handle it and get us taken care of, that was in February.
Now it is March 29 and next Wens. Which is April 2 my house goes up for sale at auction. I only know this because, two days ago I called Option One myself and spoke with a woman, who's name I cannot pronounce or even try to spell phonetically, and she told me that Patti was supposed to have faxed over our documentation on February 28th and that they had not heard from her or TMC since.
I have tried over twenty times to contact TMC each time I get a man named Michael Schaffer's voice mail on which I have left numerous messages hoping someone would call but, no one has. Today which is March 29th I finally contacted someone named Lisa who started yelling at me when I tried to ask her where my money was. She tried blaming all of this on a company called IMC who, not just 15 min. Before I tried calling TMC called me and blamed it on TMC. However, our money went to a place called Closemoreleads.com and this company sells mortgage tips. This means that they take your money, promise you help and then sit on your money until it is too late to save your home. Then they sell your mortgage to the highest bidder. This is a huge childish mess of con artists that are taking advantage of people when they are in a very emotional state.
