I had an EMC Mortgage problem years ago - thats behind me (I got the last laugh). After checking in once in a while to see the carnage others have experienced, finally some good news! EMC Mortgage is (was) a wholly owned subsidiary of Bear Sterns - you know the investment firm that tanked in one day last week at the alter of Wall Street. I am unsure of what happens next, but hopefully that whole bunch of EMC shi-sters in Texas are dumped on the street - for you that still have your loan serviced through them, perhaps you'll get some decent people this time around.
