(CitiBank) Poor Service followed by NO Service

Filed for a Home Depot 100.00 gift card in exchange of 10,000 points I accumlated in my checking account. It never came and when I would call to inquire within the three months following my order I was told "Be patient it is coming." Repeated calls were fruitless and then they told me too much time had passed and they will do nothing to either look for it, or replace it, or replenish my 10,000 points. I explained this was their doing as I had responsibly called and their inaction had postponed the process past a reasonble time allowing them to use the excuse "its too late now for us to do anything."
