Citibank just took away over 49,000 points from my ThankYou account! That is absurd! I have called a few times and requested that they put those points back, and all they say is, "Sorry, ma'am, once you closed your account you just have 30 days to use your points!"
Well, I was abroad for 7 weeks working and could not use or call thankyou.com. As soon as I got back I called them (2 days after the points "expired"), and all I heard was, "I'm sorry, ma'am, we cannot reinstate your points." What a joke!!!
