Wachovia closed all my accounts and did not tell me why

In middle January of this year, I walk into my local Wachovia branch to carry out some financial transactions and I was informed that my accounts were slated to be closed and that they (Wachovia) had apparently sent me a letter in the mail in December informing me about the same issue. So I am wondering why would they do that, I didn't think I had done anything wrong.

So, I get the phone number of the person I am supposed to contact and when I call, he says that I, as a customer, have the right to close all my accounts without giving a reason and so do they (Wachovia). Till today that is all the information I have regarding the issue.

You may be wondering maybe I did something wrong too, but it is the total opposite. I had been a customer of the bank for approximately 9 years (The bank was initially SouthTrust before Wachovia took it over), I had overdraft protection setup, I did not default on any agreement. I was, what you could call, a good client. So I was very surprised and troubled that the Bank just dropped me without any reason.
