I purchased a sleep number bed through HC Credit in Nov. my bed was to cost $1800.00. Now that it is Feb. 2008 I owe more now then I did 15 months ago, yes my payments were on time and I over payed my min. Balance every month.
I was very upset to find out that when the bed was purchased it was gaining intrest even though they told us it was intrest free for 3 months, now everytime I reseve a bill I owe for some yearly tax and other hidden fees with my intrest at 29.9% a month. Yes that means every time I make a payment it goes to intrest that will never be payed off. Like a loan through a bank usually you pay a year in intrest then your loan starts getting paid. NOPE, that is the joke you pay min. Payment of intrest to owe more on your next bill.
Not only is this company riping people of every single day they are keeping our money that doesnt belong to them, I startd making payments through the mail well for 3 months I was getting late fees, even though I was sending the payment 2 weeks in advance to know they were suposibly not getting them on time. If you look on the statement it tells you that it will take an extra 5 days to process the payment without the payment stub. Well they dont send your bill out any sooner to get it to you so its either late or you send the payment without the payment stub and be late that way. You never win. I have never been more discusted with a company, and I have told several people about what goes on with this rip off company.
