When I received my January statement there was an erroneous $40,000 draw that posted to my account dated 12/07. I immediately called a customer service representative who ensured me that he would find out what happened and call me back in a few days.
He did promptly call 3 days later and told me that we have to investigate to see if the check was ever cashed. He also stated that if the funds were not drawn against my account that I would be receiving a replacement check in the mail once the investigation was complete. I told him that I didn't want the money, but he said it would just be quicker that way. He stated this was procedure and being as he did call me back when he said, I had no reason not to believe him.
He could not tell me exactly how long it would take. I was positive I did not receive the money and certain that I would not receive a replacement check. I have a $75,000 credit limit and a couple of months prior made an over draft of a few hundred dollars that was sent back to my bank with a NSF posting. Now my balance is $114,000.
After talking to 10 cust service reps for 40 hours fover a 2 month period the issue is not solved. They lie and all but one rep called me back.
