Chase Bank
Wrongfully charged late fee, finance fee, wrongfully refuse to correct the mistakes

I have a credit rating ~800. Used a convenience check 7/24 for an emergency. Paid $199 initiation fee due to ignorance of the small prints. Expecting 0% interest for 6 months. The bank charged me $39 late fee plus $343.69 finance charge because (they said) my payment due 12/31 wasn't received until 1/2, after the holiday. To avoid additional finance charge, I paid it, plus another finance charge of $147.53 in Feb.in Jan, I paid off the loan and closed the account due to lack of confidence of the bank. They said I'll have to get a confirmation # from my bank to prove that Chase received the payment on 12/31 to waive the charges. My bank (Wells Fargo) has been ignoring my email requests for the confirmation # which made me wonder if they have some kind of connection. Finally I walked into my bank, found a banker who sympathized my situation and gave me the confirmation # along with the date which is 12/31. This banker very carefully cut off the bottom part of the statement which might gave out the identity of the person who provided the information. I provided the new evidence (confirmation #) to Chase through email and request for refund. I also called the customer service. But all they can tell me is, the upper management already made the decision not to refund me and there is nothing they can do about. (Du..?) The emails has been going back and forth many times. They said my payment was processed during holiday which require extra days and that's why it was late. Which is not true. I set it up on/before 12/28 which was not a holiday, my online payment indicate for this payee it only require 2 days, and it was processed 12/28, completed on 12/31 with a confirmation # from Chase. With all these evidence, evidence they asked from me, they still deny my claim. They made me go through all the troubles to provide evidences, and charged me, mistake #1. To deny the refund to correct their wrong doing, is mistake 2. Do they get away because they are a big company like they proudfully pronounced? There must be something we consumer can do to see justice. Help please.?
