Firstbank funds not safe!
When you make a bank deposit, in this case at FirstBank of Boulder (also known as 1st Bank or eFirstBank), you expect your money to be there when you want to withdraw it. Well, that is not the case at FirstBank!
I had funds on deposit at FirstBank for 5 years, and they decided to abandon my money and send it to the State. 1st Bank had one incorrect address on file, along with another correct address and two phone numbers. Wouldnt you think they would try all communication channels before abandoning my money? They didnt; they just sent the funds away and let me fend for myself. It took more than a month and four hours of agony to resolve this situation.
My recommendation is that you avoid FirstBank, also known as 1st Bank, at all costs. You cannot be assured your money will be protected, nor that it will be there when you want it. You would be well-advised to withdraw your funds immediately and find a bank that cares about you and will take care of your money.
