Citibank - Citicard
First 3 bills never received. Payments made anyways.intro 0% - 6 month financing revoked

Citibank approved me for a credit card in June with a $1500 credit line. When I hadn't received my card in 2 weeks as I was suppose to I contacted Citibank whom confirmed that it had been sent and I should have already received it. Since I had not they cancelled that card and sent a replacement and, at my request, sent it to my place of employment via certified mail. I received my card in August. I was granted a $1500 credit limit with 0% interest for the first 6 months providing my minimum monthly payment was made on time every month. If, at anytime, within that 6 months a payment not be made by it's due date Citibank would then revoke the 6 month/0% interest approval and re-calculate my account adding 29.74% interest retro to the day of issuance.

I received my card in August. When I did not receive a billing statement and I knew that I should have I called Citibank to verify that they had my correct mailing address and informed them that I had not received any bill. I also requested the payment mailing address. October 4 I wrote a letter re-stating the situation and included a check for $50 as I knew a payment was due. The following month I did not receive a statement either. On November 1 I wrote another letter and included another $50 payment check. Citibank ignored that I wasn't receiving my monthly statements. I repeatedly called for assistance and they verbally verified my address repeatedly, which was always correct. They disregarded my sincere attempts to establish good credit by sending payments when I still hadn't received any bills. They revoked my 6 month/0% interest and applied all of the back interest which increased my balance to over $500 over my credit limit which caused more monthly over-the-limit charges to be charged. Then I started receiving regular monthly statements, which I was unable to pay. I contacted Citibank and attempted to come to some agreement for smaller monthly payments. They refused to work with me at all. I even consulted with a Debt Counselor who couldn't help me because my debt wasn't over $10,000, but advised me to call Citibank and request that they "re-season" my account. I was told that "re-seasoning" of an account is fairly common and most companies will work with the customer. Not Citibank. The Citibank Customer Service Reps act as though they don't comprehend your situation regardless of how many times you re-state it and requesting to speak to a Manager is no different.

I became disgusted with payments that I was absolutely unable to make, the rude collection calls that repeatedly harrassed me at work (even after both of my bosses explicitely demanded that they quit calling because I was not allowed to take personal calls at work.in January I received a summons to appear in court as I am being sued by a third party collection company by the name of Unifund CCR Partners. What a way to start the new year. I have already filed my response and am hoping that legally I have some ground to stand on.
