Charged to my account, even tho i called to cancel the account

If i had known what the charged was to my account why it was waiting to be credited. I would have stopped the payment. This is fraud and the company should be made to give the money back. I am going to my bank tomorrow to get a new credit card, so no more charges can be made to my account.
