On January 21st, I was called by Triad and we negotiated a payoff on my 2001 vehicle (which of course was recorded).
This evening I received a call, (February 4th) for collection of the balance of $433.00, with the statement that the pay-off hadn't been approved yet.
According to Debra Wiggins with Triad, the supervisor had approved the $830.00 and I gave approval for direct withdrawl from my checking account, which was made on the 25th of January.
Most importantly, I would like to know how my pay-off jumped from $844. To $1,200.00, their customer service reps can't even answer that question.
I am furious and having dealt with this company for 5 years, I have yet to receive a principle break-down of my account. I gave them until 5:00 PM on Tuesday, February 5th, or I will notify the Federal Auditors for consummer loans. I had given them 10 days in which to send my title.
I would like to be a part of the class action law suit, if it is still open.
