My daughter had a car loan through Wachovia Dealer Services and it was getting repossed so I agreed to purchase the car. I secured a loan through my credit union and sent them the balance in full to pay off the car. I sent the payment overnight mail with a card from the bank so they would know where to send the title. They were supposed to send the title to my credit union. This was in September. This is now January 22 and there is still no title.
I have called Wachovia serveral times and can get nowhere. They keep saying they need to speak with my daughter as it was her loan. She has called them several times to let them know that they need to send the title also but. Still no title. She has given them permission to speak with me but they refuse to.
I am not asking them for any information. This is what they keep saying when I call-they can't release any information to me or discuss it with me. I keep telling them, I'm not asking for information. I want them to send the title like they should have done from the beginning. They have told my daughter twice now that they will take care of it, but still no title.
My credit union is sending me letters wondering where the title is. I can't complete the car registration without the title. Not to mention that I have to keep going back and extending the temp license and it costs me.
I have never dealt with a company that was so frustrating, irresponsible and unhelpful as this company. They are so focused on "not releasing any information to me" and yet I keep telling them, I don't want information! Just the title sent to the right party. It no longer belongs to them. Isn't that their job?
