Midland Credit Management
No Debt Collect

Received phone call from Midland Credit Manaement, Inc. That they had bought my debt from Newport News that was supposedly due since 1998 and was still an unpaid bill on my credit report.

At this time I told them to put it in writing so I could see what their offer was and not to call again. I received, in the mail, a 40% off current balance coupon and was told that if I paid the 40% off price by a certain date, my credit would clean up.

I went to the internet, searched Midland and found some reports about other rip offs. I also found out that the Statutes of Limitation to collect a debt in the State of Louisiana had run its course.

Now, today, I found out Midland is trying to cell its website. Someone needs to put a stop to this company.
