"secured" loans require money via moneygram before receiving the loan, FRAUDULENT

After applying for several loans all in a few days time, being denied all of them, I got a call about a week and a half later saying that I got approved for a loan of 6000 in the full amount. I talked to a man, Jamie Clark, who told me that they got me a loan though a private lender in Canada. He said that the call was delayed to be sure there was someone inetersted in lending to me. He also told me that i would need to send 984 and change for insurance due to my credit.

This report is following a report I read from another woman who experienced the same thing. After I obtained the money from my boyfriend to send to the woman in canada via moneygram at walmart, I got a phone call the next day from Michael Taylor at extension 371. He also told me the money was not enough to secure the loan insurance and needed an additional 984. The money was supposed to be in my account on this day.

Out of anger, and lack of that kind of money (who has that kind of money to shell out and is applying for loans?) I immediately asked for the refund in the full amount, after speaking with my boyfriend. My boyfriend handled the matter on the telephone speaking on my behalf, and Mr. "Taylor" also told him that the refund would not go through until December 28, but that it would be transferred into my account directly.

Unfortunately, I just found out today that the money was not deposited into my account. I was on vacation, visiting my mother and sister out of state where my bank has not yet branched. I tried calling and for the first few times, it was just a busy tone. Then I started to recieve the "goodbye" message that the woman, whose report I read while trying to find the original website that I had been on to apply, had mentioned.

I am angry, it is a very expensive lesson, and it is awful how well people can get into our brains and convince of something, make us go against our instinct. But these people robbed my boyfriend and I of nearly $1000. And they should not get away with it. They changed our christmas plans and made it impossible to obtain the car that we were in need of.

We were told that the loan would be paid off in 4 years, but that we would not be penalized for doubling up on the payments. Only 6% interest rate, sounded too good to be true, and it was.

Excuse the lack of detail, the paperwork went with my boyfriend this morning, but please, if you can help, please help.
