I did a search online for personal loans. Came across Birk's Capital, applied on their online application. After an hour or less, I was sent an e-mail saying I was approved for a $5,000.00 loan.
I was told to contact Steve Jefferson at a toll - free number, which I did, and he gave me the details of the loan: $5,000 loan at 7% interest and a monthly payment of $156.00 a month.
He then e-mail me what was suppose to be an agreement, and told me I needed to respond to e-mail saying I accept the agreement. After that I was the told I needed to secure the loan by one of three ways.
The 1st way was by a co-signer, 2nd was by collateral, and 3rd was by insurance. I opted for the 3rd way. He then said I neede to go to the Western Union and send $500.00 to someone in Canada. After I did that, he informed me that my loan would be delivered between 9:00 and 12:00 the next morning... And then the next day... Then the next day... And so on.
That has yet to happen, and now their phone just rings busy, and I am ripped off of my money.
