Fifth Third Bank is a rip-off artist. They don't tell you, but if you deposit a check, they only give you credit for 100.00 for the first 24 hours. Then they will charge overdraft fees when you think you have funds to cover. My son transferred money into my account from his Fifth Third account, same bank, and they only credited 100.00, and IT WAS CASH!
They will not reimburse any of the fees! They should be held accountable for what they do to the average customer.
At one time I had quite a large sum of money in their bank, and they could not have been nicer. I bought a house and used most of the funds, now that I am just a working person with minimal funds in the bank, it's sorry Charlie!
They should just get a gun and stick in your back when you walk in.
I am closing my account, they have taken all from me that they are going to take!
Apparently, they need it worse than I do!
