Complaint / Review
NM Services, Inc., J.P. Lipski, Lease Source
New Merchant Services, IPayment RipOff, Deceptive Advertising and Promises Mount Pocono internet

I first signed up for these services last Spring and was assured (by Esther Ruth Shuba) several times before I signed up and on the day I received my contract to sign that if I decided that this wasn't for me that I could tell them and they would find someone else to take over the credit card machine lease... That even though the lease said no buyout it wasn't true. Against my better judgment and because JP Morgan Chase was sprinkled liberally through the information (which gave a semblance of respectability) I signed up. Needless to say it was a disaster, the info I was to access would not open on my computer or any computer I tried. They said they would send a hard copy but never did, I filled out the information for the website but it was never opened. I talked to their Mike McGowan (supposed guru of marketing) about my auction sales pitch... He was about as much help as my dog. I e-mailed several times and told them that I wanted out, there was no response. I e-mailed and said that I was going to turn this over to the Attorney General of Missouri and I received an e-mail saying that they could get nasty too. That was the last e-mail I received from them. I guess that I am lucky in that I caught it soon enough to stop all removals of monies from my account (go to your bank and tell them that you want to cancel the automatic withdrawals from your account that it is a bogus and fraudulent scam and you will have to fill out a form but they will stop the withdrawals) Twice iPayment which supposedly handled Discover card transactions tried to take $350 from my account and each time I caught it and got it stopped. They will tell you that until you send them a cancellation by mail that their services continue. However, LeaseSource is a big problem. I offered to pay them $264 as a buyout of the machine since it has never been used and that is more than the actual cost of the machine. They are calling everyday but I am not having it. I have contacted the States Attorney General and he is very interested in this case.
Oh, by the way, I called the 570-698-5222 number last week and got an answering machine saying that "Joan and I are at the lake please leave a message."
