I am with CCA Financial in Richmond, VA. We are a LEGITIMATE company. We are NOT involved in this rip-off! Global Trust has stolen our bank information and is printing up counterfeit checks to use in their lottery and other scams. These checks are NOT GOOD! Please don't be a victim and try to deposit or cash them; they will be returned as Not Valid by our bank.
FYI, from what we can tell, Global is sending out these bogus checks and letters from somewhere in Canada. We have received a number of phone calls from some of the recipients. Global seems to be targeting folks who have fallen for other scams, who our bank fraud investigator says are probably on a "sucker list". Most of the calls we've received are from elderly people, or their loved ones. DO NOT SEND THESE CROOKS ANY MONEY! Contact your state's attorney general, consumer affairs division, and/or the post office to report this fraud.
By the way, most of the letters that the victims are receiving say to contact Renee Walsh at Global Trust, 1-450-330-1683 or 1-819-461-1364. I'm sure they'll go by other names and have other phone numbers, so please beware!
We are cooperating fully with the authorities. Please don't be a victim to these crooks!
