June 3rd I injured my ankle. It required surgery.intense pain and infection incurred. I was unable to make it to work. I am paid on straight commission. I fell behind for June and July.
I made my payment in June and couldn't in July. I was able to make more than the loan payment in August ($2,000) but they kept calling and insisting that I pay a certain amount to prevent attorney action. Still I received a certified letter from their attorney. I called August 28th explaining I would be unable to make the commitment they forced on my for ($2257) on August 30th. THey said there was NO WAY to stop the process. THey charged me a separate $10.00 processing fee that bounced at my bank as well. Therefore, setting me back an additional $50.00 in fees at my bank.
Thy never explained any other way to deal with my injury situation. Just that I need to pay it and all these late fees and attorneys fees were going to be added.
Since July 29th I have been out of a cast and going through therapy. I am back full time at work and had a very good August, I will still be behind and only want a way to stop the additioal fees and attorney costs. I will get current but feel they call me and try to force me into payments and deadlines I cannot make.
I have also requested a date change for payment, it is the 16th, but I get paid on the 20th all my commissions. I was hoping they could accomodate me in that nature as well.
