New Millennium Bank
I sent 2000 for 1000 credit limits on 2 cards and got nothing

I sent New Millennium Bank 129.95 for a mastercard and visa on august 31. I received a letter with an account number to start depositing money to secure my credit cards. I sent $1000 on Friday September 13 and another $1000 on the following friday of the 21 for a total of $2000. I planned to to have distributed evenly between my MasterCard and Visa.

I was told to wait 7 to 10 business days to receive the cards.in the mean time all 3 of my credit reports reflected that I had opened these accounts and my scores went up. This made me very happy and allowed me to put my guard down. I figured everything must be fine if they are reporting my accounts to the 3 credit bureas.

Well, on the 10th business day (Saturday and Sunday arent counted as business days) I called and was told they would cancel those cards initially sent and would send me out new cards. To do this I had to send fax them mail with my P. O Box address on them and they would verify and in turn, send out 2 new cards.

After waiting another 7-10 business days, I called and was told the cards were sent out on October 2. I was given 2 options, wait longer for the cards to arrive or have them reissue new cards. Needless to say, I was total done with the whole ordeal and I requested my money back. I was told that I would have to fax them a letter saying that I wanted to cancel my accounts. I was also told Id have to request that they waive any annual and late fees. I found this very frustrating being that I never received any cards in the first place and having to 'ask" that they not charge me a late fee and annual fee was a total slap in the face.

The worst part was being told that I'd have to wait TEN WEEKS to receive my money via U.S. Mail. Being that they failed to send me any cards on pin numbers for the cards, I asked that they send me my money via MoneyGram, the method I used in all instances to send them money. Ofcourse, they refused. 8 piece of mail (4 cards and 4 pin numbers) have failed to come to me. I never even received the cards they supposedly sent in the 1st place for me to destroy. To this day, October 15, I still don't know what one of their credit cards looks like.

But I wont be fooled again. I sent them my cancellation letter with a warning that if they don't contact me on this issue by Thursday October 18 that I will file a civil suit on October 19. But who am I fooling? Im going to file regardless of what they say. All faith and hope I had in this company is gone. If a representative from New Millennium Bank came and whispered in my ear I'd bet the message wouldn't be delivered. I kept all my paper work and I am going to tear them a new one.

They are an internet fraud if ever I seen one. No better than someone in South Africa offering you $78698763947953 if you send them $1000 to open the funds up with some bank. I wouldn't be one bit suprised If good old N.M.B. Had some part in that scam. I will keep you all posted on my progress
