Things to know before you go in!

Beware before wasting your time for a Training Loan Officer Position.

#1 IT is NOT a paid training. (Which I think they changed for adverstising) The first 2-3 weeks involves absolutely no pay at all. Then if you make it that far when you get up to the floor you get half the regular commision everyone else gets until you close 5 loans, while you are "mentored". Most people don't close their first loan for at least 6 weeks if that. So no pay check for almost 2 months.

#2 Very few people make the cut - If you are not a hardcore salesman and good at math don't waste your time - most people either quit, get too intimidated or just can't handle the intense pressure, or they may let you go if you don't conform to their ways.

# 3 I will admit the training course is very good and very fast paced - in fact if you don't return the manual they charge you like $1000 because they are so protective of their "techniques" and don't want other businesses stealing their training.

# 4 - It is 100% commission. Bottom line - if you don't close a loan you don't get paid - nada. However the more loans you close the more a % of the cut you get, Therefore if you are freaking amazaing it is a great chance to make some good money - but if you can't produce than your in trouble.

# 5 The thing that really upset me is the facade they hind behind.inTEGRITY, frankly that is just B.S. They are no different than any other loan company out there - bottom line they are just in it to make a quick buck. They may say they develeop Trust - Loyalty and Confidence (TLC) in their customers, but when push comes to shove -they use all the same "proven sales techniques" of manipulation that all salesman use. With customers the philosophy is DON'T CHASE -WE REPLACE - which is ironically is the same motto for employees - ie if you don't produce than there is no reason for you to work for them.

PS they do have a few complaints with the BBB - and are not registered with them.

# 6 - Their benefits program sucks, basically they don't pay in anything - they will "provide" a service - but you pay the full amount.

Also from a "CONSUMERS" view their fees are ridiculously high - anywhere form 10k-30k in fees for the whole processes of finding and closing your loan (depending on the loan value).

# 7 - TO Sum up - if you are looking for a sales position were you have to work hard and do "WHATEVER" it takes to close a loan - than this is right for you. Anyone less ambitious - don't waste your time. (If you ever saw "The Broiling Room" and think you could do that - then this is perfect for you).
