I went in to get my taxes prepared. My taxes were not suppose to be filed since I didn't even have my W-2's yet. A week later I hate a large check waiting but was not informed it was because of my taxes. Another week later I was informed by my state that my taxes had already been filed. I thought it was a mistake and called Instant Tax. They said yes they had been filed and it was a mistake and it happens when they try to push through the refund loan I received and that it had happened to others.
I tried to get my paperwork through this company since I knew I would have to file and amended return but they refused to give it to me until I handed over my W-2's. I wrote the owner a letter informing that I would not hand over my W-2's to them until I received my paperwork or my taxes were refiled by a trusted company that I was going to choose to use. The owner contacted me and left a message but when I tried to contact him back he was never available. I along with several other people have made complaints with AGO and are seeking a refund for all of our fees paid to them.
