Do not send money to these people!!! I thank God that I came on here before I did. I'm sorry for the young woman that lost her money to them. I recieved a phone call at work from a "Ms. Carla Hampton" from Wilmington Financial Trust, calling to tell me that I had been preapproved for a loan but that she needed to verify some information. So she verified my social and d.O. B, which i am frightened at the fact she actually had this information.
So anyway, after verifying my information she tells me that I was approved for a 15,000.00 dollar loan, but that I would be required to pay a 1700.00 dollar deposit due to my credit history... But soon after telling me that she said that her company would pay half of the deposit for me, so the only thing i was obligated to pay would be 850.00 dollars for a 15,000.00 dollar loan... Sounds too good to be true right??? Well it was!!!
After getting off the phone with her, I quickly thought about looking the company up on the internet to try and validate rather its a real financial company, i couldnt find them by search. So I called back and asked if they have a website, and she says. Yes they do, but its under construction right now so i probably wouldnt be able to view it until wednesday. She gave me a bogus website and nothing showed up. I called directory assitance, and there is no such company in Shelbyville, KY.
Thank-you to the lady that posted her terrible experience with these terrible people, they might not ever get caught, but I serve a God that sees all and knows all, and what is done in the dark, shall come to the light.
