13 September 07 - I have been recently trying to set up an allotment with Compass Bank. I was dealing with Kameka about trying to set up this account. She informed me that no Compass bank did allotments, after I was previously told that they did. She was not very friendly, informative, or knowledgable. She explained nothing and did not make an effort to at least verify her answer. I called two other branches and talked to two other "Kamekas" as well. I finally called the Main branch off Marquette and talked to Erica and she informed me they did do allotments and that she would love to help me.
I also work customer service and sometimes I may not know an answer or I may be unsecure in the answer I'm giving. However, I make the effort to verify my answer so I do not do a disservice to the customer. Had it not been for Erica I would have just had all accounts shut-down with them and would have been an advocate against Compass.
