Compass Bank debits funds from accounts and always credits funds after all debits have been processed. This includes credits transferred from other accounts residing at Compass.
The end result is multiple NSF fees, even if the customer deposited/transferred the funds before making the debit.
Furthermore, if a customer has multiple accounts, Compass Bank will not transfer the funds it needs from an account with funds in order to cover debits from an account without funds.
