I too am a victim of NCRC's refund rip off. I worked through them for around 5 years and finally finished making my payoff in June, thank goodness for that. I contacted NCRC after receiving notification from them that they were dissolving and asked about my refund. I was told to return to the web site in about three weeks for details on how to request my refund. I went into the site which only came up with a notice and I sent an e-mail to the refund department as instructed. No reply. I called several times, I e-mailed several times, and I even wrote and no reply.
The last payment had not reached my creditor although NCRC said it had been electronically made two weeks before. I called the creditor and they were not showing a thing. I called NCRC back and raised heck and then around about two days later the $376 payment finally showed up. However, I never received anything on the refund.
It's a shame that companies are allowed to get by with stuff like this. As one previous customer stated, we needed financial help or we wouldn't have been there in the first place. I don't know a thing about class action suits, but if financially able I would be willing to go along with others who wish to file one.
