I was a customer of NCRC for 5 years. When I started with the resource center, I payed a large sum of money as a down payment to get started with my debt consolidation. I made EVERY payment on time over the last five years, and was only 6 months away from completion of my consolidation contract at the time the company disbanded.
I received a letter stating that NCRC was having problems, was disbanding, and was referred to another consolidation company. I was told that I would receive the original down payment within two to three weeks of the account transfers to the new company. It has now been 4 months, and I have not seen one cent of the down payment I paid to NCRC!
I have attempted several contacts to NCRC over the last 16 weeks, via phone and email, only to find that both give no response. I attempted to contact the Better Business Bureau to report them, but since they are no longer in business, it was pointless. This company has ripped me off with a significant amount of money, and I have no way of getting it back. I hope others that read this and have the same problem will post a message. Maybe then we can get what is due to us - OUR MONEY!
