This company is unbelievable. I was with EMC Mortgage company in 2006 and fell behind in 5-06.in October I called EMC and made arrangement to make an extra $100.00 payment a month to get my payments caught up. I did this.in 2-07, EMC sold my contract to Green Tree. Then my problems began.
I received daily calls from them stating I was behind. I spoke with George in March, who was working with the contracts that came over from EMC, and he stated that if I would send $691.75 in my April payment, we would be square. So I did.
I kept receiving phone calls from Green Tree stating that I was behind and I would try to tell them that I was not. They would only argue with me. I then recieved a forclosure from them. I sent a letter to the Attorney General in my state. I thought this was settled because my statement would only reflect my current due amount. Boy, was I wrong
In July, my statement stated that I was behind a month, so I called and spoke with George again and he stated that July 30 they sent another forclosure on my home. Is this ever going to end.
I told him I was not behind on any payments and had to go over the story, again, and he said he would investigate it. I just spoke to him today, so we will see. This is totally rediculous.
I agree with everyone that something needs to be done with this company, like a class action suit
