Let me start off by saying, (I HAVE BEEN ROBBED).
I, like many others that have contacted these people have been ripped off for thousands of dollars for an unsecured loan.
They seem to prey on people that are in dire need of money. Money that people cant borrow from most loan companies or banks.
I applied on line for a large sum of money to buy home. After a few days i was contacted by the (Solaris International Financial Group) telling me that my loan has been confirmed and that they needed information from me so i could receive a loan for the amount i was applying for. I gave them the information they asked of me by faxing the information to them.
I was then told to call back the next day to see if i had been qualified, and "BINGO" im approved with no sweat. (My credit is very poor)
SO then im told my funds would be sent to my checking account via direct deposit.
Oh yes i forgot to tell you that before i could receive my money i had to send in 6 months in advance payments which mounted to $1,946.00. And i was told to go to a Western Union Station and buy me a money gram (Which cost me an additional $200.00 to send it and send it to a persons name, not a company but to a private person in Kingston Jamaica. SO of course i did and i thought that was the end of it. (NO WAY).
The very next day i was called by this individual that they couldnt send the money because i needed to purchase insurance for an unsecured loan. So again like a stupid a* i did so and bought another money gram and sent it off to a differant individual in Kingston. (How stupid can one be, right?)
Then thats when Mr Johnathan came into play from Stratis Insurance company. He told me i needed an additional $1,000.00 to purchase insurance for a unsecured loan. And i did so. And he told me i would be receiving my loan the very next day. (NO WAY WAS THIS TO HAPPEN).
Day after day i called and was finally told it would take 30 days to receive a refund. That was on the 20th of July. (NO MONEY)
Ive been calling them eveyday and sometimes 2 or 3 times a day and i keep getting excuses after excuses.
My question to you is, how on earth can these people keep operating like this without anything being done about it. I have contacted the Consumers Affairs in Jamaica, and the Jamaica Constabulary Force. "Nothing, " ", no way" has anything been done.
This is a crying shame that these people can steal from people day in and day out and nothing can be done to stop them. To me its the same thing as putitng a gun to my head and demanding money from me.
I am in cooperation in anyway to see that these people are driven out of the country or put behind bars for a long time. They are no better than a armed robber preying on innocent people.
