I have been getting phone calls that show up unknown and that have no phone numbers. Sometimes I have a cryptic voicemail. One time, I answered the call. It gave three options, if I was the man they were trying to call, press 1, a second option, and if you wish to speak to a customer service representative, press star. I pressed star so that as a woman named Macmillan, I was not a male with a middle eastern sounding name. When I pressed star, the call ended with no way for me to call them back.
Today, I wrote down the number from the voicemail so I could call them. I called, but my cell phone said my call could not be completed as dialed. They must have caller ID and they don't really want to talk to someone that only has a cell phone. I called on my landline and when I got someone on the line, I explained that I was getting calls, but they were not for me. She asked for my phone number, I gave it to her and she repeated the middle eastern sounding name. I tried to tell her that he may have given them the wrong area code, but before I could say anything, she hung up on me. Now I'm mad.
They have been calling my cell phone, using my minutes and they hang up on me without me being able to help and without a single apology. I have no idea who this company is. The only way I was able to get an address in order to file this complaint, was from someone else's complaint.
