I was late on a bill with Cross Country Bank and received a phone call at work a few mths ago, I told the woman I knew I was late on my bill and would pay it the following week and she said no problem. Well not even a week later I get this phone call from a "Manager of CCB" at least that is who he said he was after I wanted to speak to his manager.

Anyway, I have never been treated so wrong and disrespectful in my entire life, at first I was talking to a young gentlemen explaining to him that someone had already called me when all of a sudden this other person comes on the phone and atomically starts yelling at me! He said mam we have tried contacting you many times (which they haven't, only once) and we need to get your pymt and we need it now, I told him I would make a pymt when he interrupted saying should we just take it out of your bank acct. With UBOC and I told him that wasn't even my bank anymore which was good since that's all he had record of, then he said he needed a check over the phone and I kept telling him no I would mail it in, all this time he is yelling and being very rude, what really got me is when he said he asked to call my mother and ask her for the money! How dare you I said even mention my mothers name in this, at that time I just went off, I told him I couldn't believe how he could even talk to a person like this and be so damn rude and disrespectful, he said well you are lying to me about being able to even afford this card because you said you made so and so amt of money and we tried and call your house and the guy on the other end is rude to us and hangs up, I said oh well that's not my fault that you guys call 7am in the morning on a Sunday harassing other people, you deserve it!

I couldn't take it no more (and there are allot of things I am leaving out but this would even longer than it already is) and ask to talk to his manager and he said he was, so I asked what his name was and he said why, what are you going to do and I said give me your name and don't worry about it!

Well he said his name was Steve Johnson who knows how true that was but after about 30 mins I just said look I will send the pymt Friday like I told the other girl that called which he said she was probably new and shouldn't have told me it was ok to just send it in which I responded it wasn't my problem that they can't train there people right. I

Was just so furious by then with tears in my eyes and he said well it has to be here by blah blah I told him fine and that he would be hearing from me very soon! Well that's it, as soon as I got off the phone I felt that someone had pretty much verbally abused me it was horrible.
