The company, EDP Card, fraudently withdrew the amount of $159.95 from my checking account causing my account to be overdrawn and consequently causing other personal purchases to also be considered overdrawn. Upon calling the customer service number, I followed the prompts, and then continued to remain on hold for an extremely lenghthy amount of time. The website offered no other contact numbers and for all intensive purposes, is basically a dead end web page. I filed a claim with my bank two days after the incident and am currently still waiting for the monies to be returned to my account.
This debit was not authorized and it's simply amazing and awful that not only does this crime exist, but that our own banking institutes can't even recognize it when it passes through!
