Last year I obtained a car loan throgh AmeriCredit. About 7 months afer that graduated college. I am a working adult who has had and Paid off/on time car loans in the past.

When I graduated I ran into some financial difficulties. I was going to be late on a payment for my car so I called americredit to find out what I could do. The other loan companies I had dealt with in the past has programs to help their customers through a tough month or two.

I spoke to a customer service rep who took down my name address and the names and addresses of two people not related to me as references. She also took a fax number where I could receive a fax and told me I should send 20% of the total of two payment by Western Union to the company.

They required 20% of the payments to process the paperwork. I submitted all of the necessary paperwork and sent the money Western Union and then waited. I heard nothing back from the company for a couple of weeks. My payment date came and went.

I called back to make sure that the paper work to roll two payments to the end of the loan went through. The customer service rep who aswered the phone promptly told me that the request to roll the payments had been denied. I asked her why, she said she did not know.

I asked to speak to a supervisor. The man I spoke to Was aggitated that I even called.
